CRIOLLO ORIGINS
In Argentina, criollo refers to a way of life shaped by a mix of cultures — European traditions meeting Indigenous South American roots, all grounded in the land itself. Over time, it has come to represent something more than heritage. It speaks to identity, adaptability, and a deep connection to place.
That idea sits at the center of Criollo Camp.
CRIOLLO story
Criollo Camp Outfitters was founded in 2024 by Pablo Signori and Santiago Derendinger.
The two met in the Altiplano of Argentina while working on a short film. What began as conversations about rivers, regions, and fishing quickly revealed something deeper — a shared curiosity for the world and a similar vision for how it should be experienced.
Santi, owner-operator of Kuntur Fly Fishing, brings over a decade of experience guiding and building programs across Argentina, with a deep understanding of its waters, landscapes, and people. Pablo brings strong ties to the fly fishing industry along with a background as a creative director, focused on connecting people to place through story, design, and experience.
Together, they built Criollo Camp to be something different — not just another agency, but a way to bring people into landscapes in a more thoughtful, connected way. Rooted in a shared passion for fishing, cultural curiosity, and meaningful travel, Criollo is about creating experiences that feel personal, intentional, and worth returning to.
Fly fishing to be unfound, to feel alive, to discover yourself.
